Wistar Han®
RccHan®:WIST
HsdHan®:WIST

Albino. Derived at Biological Research Laboratories Limited (BRL), formerly RCC, now Harlan Laboratories Ltd., Fullinsdorf, Switzerland from original colony at Zentralinstitute fur Versuchstierzucht, Hannover in 1989. Transferred to Harlan Sprague-Dawley, Inc. in 1993. In 2004 Envigo acquired RCC Ltd. and new breeding stock was transferred in 2008 (nomenclature RccHanR:WIST).
